SAG-AFTRA

Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artis

SAG-AFTRA is the nation’s largest labor union for working actors. They have pver 160,000 people in film, television, commercials,  music videos and all other media.

Member benefits includes housing, health insurance, emergency and social services. You get industry deals and discounts for movies and rentals. SAG-AFTRA also provides a variety of programs to help advance your acting career. They provide handbooks, training, and other work opportunities for actors. You can even attend workshops with casting directors.

AEA

Actors’ Equity Association

AEA (“Actor’s Equite or “Equity”) was founded in 1913 and represents over 50,000 actors and stage managers in the theater industry. They work to advance the careers of its members by negotiating wages, improving working conditions and providing a wide range of benefits, including health and pension plans.

CAEA

Canadian Actors’ Equity Association

CAEA is the professional association of performers, directors, choreographers, and stage managers engaged in live performance, theater, opera and dance. They negotiate and administer collective agreements, provide benefit plans, information and support for their members.

British Actors’ Equity Association

Equity UK is the only trade union to represent artists across the entertainment industry in the UK. With over 43,000 members, they bring together entertainment professionals and ensures their demands are heard: whether these are for decent pay, better health and safety regulations, or more opportunities for all.

Actors Federal Credit Union

Actors Federal Credit Union is a cooperatively run, not-for-profit financial organization chartered in 1962 for the benefit of members of Actors’ Equity Association. They provide a full range of secure, progressive, and first-rate financial services to over 22,000 members of more than 190 organizations nationwide. Any paid-up member of Equity, SAG-AFTRA, AGMA, or member in good standing of any of our 151 member organizations is eligible to apply. Immediate family members are also eligible to join.
